From preset to storefront in four steps

Illustrative store and products. The screens, wording and behaviour are the module's own.

What it does

Eight ready presets — Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas, Valentine’s, Sunset, Ocean and more — or your own colours, with a contrast check so the text stays readable.

Beside the text: icon tiles, up to eight products picked from a grid (image, price and discount included), a floating image, or a large countdown to the end of the offer.

Animated without being heavy: rotating words, glow, stars, snow, a scrolling ticker and a light that follows the cursor — all CSS, paused when off screen.

A live preview while you edit, at desktop, tablet and phone width, and again inside the Insert Widget window — no saving and checking the storefront.

How it works

    Pick a preset

    Start from Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas or one of the others, or set your own six colours. The editor warns when the text and the background are too close.

  2. 2

    Write it and choose the media

    Eyebrow, headline with a highlighted word, rotating words, two buttons. Beside it: tiles, products, an image or a countdown, on the left or the right.

  3. 3

    Watch it while you edit

    The preview redraws as you type, at desktop, tablet or phone width, with a reduced-motion switch to see what those visitors get.

  4. 4

    Place it with a widget

    Insert it in any CMS page, block or Page Builder row. The widget window shows the banner too, so you know which one you picked.

  5. 5

    It looks after itself

    Saving a banner clears the cached pages that show it. Start and end dates and the countdown switch it on and off without anyone touching it.

What you need

  • Magento 2.4.4 or later, PHP 8.1 or later
  • Or Medusa v2, Shopify or WooCommerce 7.0+, with the Devexa connector
  • Magento: A Hyvä or Luma-based theme
  • Magento: Cron running (for scheduled start and end times)
  • A Devexa plan that includes Promo Banners (Business or higher)

Set it up

  1. 1 Install the module with Composer and add your licence key.
  2. 2 Under Stores › Configuration › Devexa › Promo Banners, set Enable to Yes.
  3. 3 Devexa AI › Promo Banners › Add Banner: pick a preset and fill in the text and the media.
  4. 4 Insert the “Devexa - Promo Banner” widget where it should appear. On Hyvä, rebuild the theme CSS once.

Questions merchants ask

Does it slow the page down?

No library is added: on Hyvä it uses Alpine, which is already on the page, and on Luma a 4 KB script. The CSS is printed only on pages that show a banner, animations move only transform and opacity, and they stop when the banner scrolls out of view.

Can I prepare a banner before the campaign starts?

Yes. Set Show From and Show Until, or a countdown that hides the banner when it reaches zero. The page cache is cleared at both times, so it appears and disappears on schedule.

What if a product in the banner sells out?

Disabled, invisible and out-of-stock products are skipped in the shop, so a sold-out product never sits in your Black Friday banner.

Is it accessible?

Everything that moves on its own has a pause button, visitors whose device asks for reduced motion get a still banner, the headline is a real heading, and screen readers read the rotating words once instead of on every change.
